Cats are perhaps one of the cutest animals kept as pets at homes. There are many categories of cats and they have been adopted as pets by people for many generations all over the world. Among the most lovable types of cats are the Burmese cats. These Burmese cats are cute to look at and are quite friendly. They are easy to tame. No wonder, these Burmese cats come in the first row of popularity. Generally, Burmese cats are friendly, social, and playful in nature. The American Burmese cats differ from British Burmese cats in the shape of their face. While British Burmese cats have a triangular face, American Burmese cats have a round face. These cats are identified by the color of their coats. They come in a vast variety of colors, such as, brown, red, lilac, chocolate, cream and blue. Most interestingly, each of these categories looks different from the other. Another interesting name for these Burmese cats is “a brick wrapped in silk”. As far as their size is concerned, they are medium in size and are well muscled. As a rule, female cats are smaller than the male cats.
Most of the Burmese cats are intelligent. They are also extremely sweet in nature and enjoy the company of people. A funny fact about the Burmese cat is its fondness for sleeping, especially in the lap of its favorite human companion. All in all, the best thing about these adorable pets is that they are easy to keep; they require no special attention for their maintenance. Only a weekly grooming and cleaning will suffice for their proper maintenance.
