Cornish Rex

Down hairs are silky soft and closest to the cat’s skin. Cornish Rex has an extremely wavy and fine coat and sometimes it becomes almost curly.

The temperature of their body is a little higher than other cats. Usually, their body temperature is 102 F. Since these cats prefer to live in warm temperature, they have a tendency to lie around their master’s shoulders or laps, top of the computer monitors, light bulbs etc. Some of them have mild body odor.

Cornish Rex cats are extremely people oriented and loving. They love to play and jump about everywhere in the house. They think that because these cats have a fine and short textured coat, it is almost impossible to spread this allergenic problem to their body. However, it is not true. Usually, new hair replaces old hair of their body.
