Feline Ringworm Symptoms
Some
cats do not show any signs though the fungus is present on their skin
and fur. This can be because the fungus did not penetrate the skin.
Because of this the cat acts as a carrier for the fungus and may spread
it to other cats or humans.
When the fungus penetrates the skin,
it starts to digest the tissues and outer layer of the skin. Some
common things that can be observed are
1) Circular patches with little or no hair
2) Brittle hair
3) Some degree of itching can also be seen
4) The skin becomes scaly and lesions may appear
The cat should be taken care of properly and care should be taken to see to it that the feline ringworm gets cured.
